Rain-X anti-fog treatment works as advertised, highly recommended.

People have reported the product causing a haze on the winshield, which I saw too. This means the product was applied too thick, and you must scrub the excess off. It's a painless process. The stuff actually goes on really thin... almost like you're not applying any at all, but it still works.

I haven't had even a hint of fog on the inside of my windshield since its application. Without the fog, I no longer need the defroster, which prevents me from wasting gas and/or causing condensation on the outside of the glass from the cold air.

Rain-X anti-fog is a must-have.

Is this (endorsement about) the paste/liquid or the wipes?

The liquid.

That's what I used on my Pro. Then I bought the Rain X wipes for the 6. Which were 'OK' at best.

And last time - I figured I'd do one better and used Windex (Ammonia free of course). Which totally sucked.

Back to Rain X, I guess!

Is rain-x safe for tinted windows? I know you have to be careful what cleaners you use on it, so I'm a little leary to touch it with anything.

Not that its a huge deal, I could just apply it to my windshield below my tint strip and not touch the front driver and passenger windows.

On the package, the application interval is listed as "reapply when needed."

Not sure if it's safe with tint... good question. You tinted your windshield? Rain-X, at least, goes on the outside of the glass, so that'd be safe. Not sure about the Rain-X fog treatment, as that goes on the inside.

Yeah, I put a tint strip at the top of my windshield. Its ~6-8in thick at the very top.

i'd probably be safe and just use rain-x right around the area where the vent blows air directly onto your windshield because that seems like to be the most common area in all cars. But I definitely swear by Rain-x "liquid" products.

Another alternative for Rain-X (non-anti-fog) is using spray detailer on the glass when you detail the rest of the car. Gets rid of cosmetic imperfections (spots...) and also sheets water from the windshield, without gumming up wipers when they may be needed,

I sweear by the regular liquid Rain-X. They make a Rain-X Washer Fluid which works pretty well too; not quite as good as the real hand application does, but it does a pretty respectable job and involves no work whatsoever.
