For some reason, my front brakes make this moaning (not squeaking) sound when I make a full turn while applying on brake softly. It's very noticeable when backing out of the driveway. Can anyone think of what cause this? Thanks all.

I have similar problem, some people describe as grinding and some describe as moaning. But, I believe we're all on the same boat.

I've also had the groaning sound when I brake at low speeds. My front brake pads and clips were replaced with the new version a couple of weeks ago but the groan came back, so now they are replacing the rear pads as well. It's difficult to determine just where the noise is coming from. I'm hoping to pick up my car today and that the problem is gone for good. It was an intermittent groan and you have to be able to reproduce it when you take it into the dealer, so I had to wait till it started making noise and then drive straight over so that they could hear it. Good Luck!

just take it in and tell dealers to cal tech support and they can fill them in on the exacy way to shave the pads...
