Used Tanabe Sustec NF210 springs for the 1.5/1.6l 3rd gens... These springs are specially designed for the smaller engined BJs for optimal handling and ride height. In fact, the rear spring rates on the 2.0l version are different! The attention to these details Tanabe gave is what will guarantee excellent handling. These springs are available in Japan only.
These springs are meant for the 1.5l (non-US) or 1.6l 3rd generation (BJ) cars. If you have a 2.0l (such as the ES, Protege 5, MP3, or MSP), do NOT buy these
non-US BJs will have the 1.5l engine and 1.6l engine options depending on year, these springs are designed for either engine (because they weigh the same and are practically the same engine)
Drop:
Front: 31-45mm
Rear: 15-25mm
Spring rates:
Front: 2.4kgf/mm
Rear 1.9kgf/mm

These spring rates are similar to the MP3's springs, meaning the ride quality will still be good!
